The Frostguard was specifically developed to protect vineyards, orchards, and plants in tunnels from night frost. It also improves fruit set. Unlike the Frostbuster, the Frostguard is a stationary machine that can be fitted with an auto-start system. When the temperature drops below the predetermined level, the system starts the engine, ignites the burner, and controls the temperature automatically.

- On the Frostguard both the burner and fan are fueled by propane gas - butane and LPG cannot be used as it will freeze if temperatures drop too low. The Frostguard system allows you to start with one or two machines, and then to expand on this in the future.
