- For external use only.\r\n\r\nDo not use on horses: toxic to horses.\r\nHandle with care: poisonous when swallowed.\r\nCalves under 6 months of age must be treated strictly according to body mass.\r\nSigns of salivation and lethargy may occur with overdosage. These signs are transient\r\nand will pass with no ill effect.\r\nStore in a safe place away from food and feed.\r\nToxic to bees, other insects and fish.\r\nKeep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.\r\nAlthough this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions,\r\nfailure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected,\r\nseek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.
- Precautions
- Do not mix AMIPOR with any other product.\r\nIndividual animals may show signs of salivation; this is transient and will pass\r\nwith no ill effect.\r\nAvoid skin and eye contact. Wash hands immediately with soap and water after\r\naccidental contact. Contact with the product may cause a burning sensation\r\nof the skin and eyes which may last for 24 hours. This reaction is transient and\r\nwithout harmful effect.\r\nA mild skin sensitivity may occur in certain individual animals.\r\nWash hands thoroughly before eating, drinking or smoking.\r\nPrevent contamination of food, eating utensils, drinking water, rivers, dams,\r\ngrazing, etc.\r\nDestroy empty containers after use. NEVER re-use containers for any other purpose.\r\n\r\nNOTE TO PRACTITIONER\r\nIn case of accidental poisoning or ingestion, consult a medical practitioner and make\r\nthis label available to him/her. No specific antidote; treat symptomatically.
- Product Application Method
- Apply 10 ml per 100 kg body mass to back midline of cattle/game being treated. Application should be done by means of a suitable applicator from the head to the base of the tail. Treat weekly for three weeks; thereafter, treat according to challenge. \r\nSheep and goats\r\nControls Karoo paralysis ticks on sheep.\r\nUse 2 ml per 10 kg body mass.\r\nFor Karoo paralysis tick apply approximately a quarter of the dose in each of the four <91>armpits<92> (the axillae and the groin).\r\nKills red lice in sheep and goats. Use 4 ml per 10 kg body mass. Apply the full dose as a stripe down the midline of the back.\r\nTreat sheep/goats twice, 3 weeks apart.
