Orchard Fans' Fixed Frost Fan has the highest tower height on the market at 12 metres. Our tower design allows our fan to be fully immersed in the inversion layer ensuring a continuous supply of warm air to protect your crops.\n\nThe Fixed Fan produces a high-volume low speed wind which is ideal for frost protection and will not damage your crops. Our focus in on quality of coverage and deeper penetration with a positive safety margin at 150 metres at90percent power output.\n\nThe fan is driven by an electric motor which is powered by either a mobile generator or Eskom. We chose an electric motor as this is the most efficient transfer of power for our fan application.\n\nOur laydown tower design allows for ease of erection and annual maintenance.
