Dosages

Cattle 1 ml / 10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg / kg body mass) If necessary repeat after 72 hours.\r\nSheep 1 ml / 10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg / kg body mass) If necessary repeat after 60 hours.\r\nGoats 1 ml / 10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg / kg body mass) If necessary repeat after 72 hours.\r\nPigs 1 ml / 10 kg body mass (equivalent to 20 mg / kg body mass) If necessary repeat after 72 hours.\r\nIn case of tickborne gallsickness (anaplasmosis), repetitive treatments (10 - 14 day treatment period) are necessary to eliminate the parasite from carriers.

Withdrawel Period

\r\nDo not use in cats, dogs and horses.\r\nKeep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.\r\nAlthough this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons. If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder

Precautions

Contra-indicated in cases of known\r\nhypersensitivity, impaired liver and / or kidney\r\nfunction.\r\nUse only when clearly indicated in the last half of pregnancy.\r\nN.B. Although studies indicate that TERRALON LA is well tolerated, a transient irritation may occur at the site of the injection. In lactating animals a small drop\r\nin milk production (up to 3 days) may be observed.\r\nHypersensitivity reactions occur occasionally.\r\nNote to veterinarian:\r\nIn case of a serious anaphylactic reaction, the\r\nadministration of epinephrine, antihistamines and\r\ncorticosteroids should be considered.

Product Application Method

TERRALON LA is for deep intramuscular injection only. It is strongly recommended to divide the intramuscular dosages over two or more injection sites <96> maximum 15 ml per injection site in cattle over 150 kg, and 7 ml in pigs, calves, sheep and goats. Injection sites should be alternated.
