AIM Engineering, known for its aluminium chassis for rifles,

AIM Engineering, known for its aluminium chassis for rifles, has recently gained recognition by sponsoring elite shooters. They offer a unique product suitable not only for competitions but also for long-range shooting, with a focus on adjustability and stability. Johan from AIM Engineering explains their journey.
The Beginning of AIM Engineering
AIM Engineering has deep roots in the firearms industry, and it was Johan's son's passion for shooting competitions that shaped the direction of the business. Johan explains, "We started in the firearms industry a long time ago. My youngest son was very good at shooting competitions, and he caught the bug. This led us to the development of aluminium chassis for rifles. These chassis are particularly beneficial for shooters in competitions because they are adjustable to the user's needs."

Adjustable and Stable Design
One of the biggest advantages of AIM Engineering's aluminium chassis is its adjustability. Johan elaborates, "You can adjust the cheek rest as well as the rear of the rifle. This provides extremely high stability, which is crucial, regardless of weather conditions. It ensures that you can shoot consistently every time." This makes the chassis extremely popular among shooters who take long-range shots and participate in competitions.
Success in Competitions
AIM Engineering's success in shooting competitions speaks volumes about the quality of its products. Johan mentioned that they sponsor an elite shooter in Namibia, Dirk Sauber. "We've achieved first and third place on the podium with our elite chassis. Dirk competed against big names from the US military and won," Johan proudly says. It's clear that AIM Engineering's products meet international standards and can compete in global competitions.

What Makes AIM Engineering Unique?
AIM Engineering stands out from the competition due to its family-oriented business model and its ability to manufacture most of its products in-house. "We divide the work into three sectors: design and programming, customer handling, and plastic parts manufacturing," Johan explains. They focus on cost savings by only purchasing basic materials and screws while handling the rest of the production themselves, providing customers with a world-class product at a better price.
Range of Calibers and Accessories
AIM Engineering's aluminium chassis covers a wide range of calibers, including popular options like the 6.5 Creedmoor, Mauser, and RSR actions. They have about 26 different inserts to fit various rifles. Additionally, they have developed chassis for the .22-caliber, which is quickly gaining popularity among shooters who prefer to use cheaper ammunition for practice before switching to larger calibres. Johan also highlights the benefits of AIM Engineering’s monopod, which offers adjustable support for long-range shots, along with their new adjustable cheek rest that can be customized in all directions.
