Design and Build

The 350 Patriot is manufactured in Brazil and is part of Case IH's well-known sprayer range. It has a 3,500-liter spray tank, ideal for larger fields and intensive spraying programs. What truly sets it apart is its impressive ground clearance of 1.73 meters, the highest in Case IH’s lineup. This specification ensures that the sprayer can operate accurately, even late in the season, in taller crops like maize, sunflowers, and sugarcane.

The sprayer’s track width can be adjusted from inside the cab and can extend between 3 and 4 meters to accommodate various crops. This adjustment is hydraulic, allowing for quick and easy changes during operation. Additionally, the trailing link suspension provides excellent stability and performance, even on uneven terrain, ensuring that the sprayer moves uniformly and efficiently across the field.

Hydraulic System and Power

One of the key features of the Case IH 350 Patriot is the crossflow system, which uses two hydrostats – a master and a slave. The left rear hydrostat controls the left rear wheel and the right front wheel, improving power distribution and ensuring the sprayer moves evenly across the field. This design makes it easier to perform spraying tasks on variable terrain conditions.

The sprayer is equipped with a 250 horsepower, 6.7-liter Case IH FPT NEF engine, a reliable 6-cylinder motor that has proven itself in agricultural machinery. This powerful engine provides more than enough energy for the sprayer’s needs, even in the toughest conditions. A significant modification in the latest model is the replacement of the previous 4-cylinder engine with this powerful 6-cylinder, offering improved reliability and performance.

Boom and Spray Controls

The 350 Patriot is available with boom options from 30m to 36m, giving farmers the freedom to choose the perfect size for their operations. What makes this sprayer unique is its ultrasonic sensors that send pulses to the ground, ensuring that the boom is automatically adjusted to maintain the correct height. This autoboom system is a major advantage, as it enhances the accuracy of spray applications, even on uneven terrain.

Another important feature is the sprayer’s section control, managed through the Hawkeye 2 nozzle control system. With 9 section valves, farmers can control the amount of chemicals being sprayed more accurately, helping to reduce costs and protect the environment. This advanced spray control is ideal for farmers who prioritize precision and cost-efficiency.

Cabin and Controls

The Pro 700 display and JX cabin are designed for comfort and ergonomics. From the cab, the operator can control everything – from hydraulic adjustments of the track width to the agitation system of the spray tank. The tank features manual valves and a chemical inductor, with a functionality diagram in the cab explaining how it all works. It is user-friendly and intuitive, meaning that even farmers who are not familiar with advanced spraying technology will find it easy to operate this sprayer.

The 350 Patriot operates similarly to a combine harvester, with a hydrostat controlling the machine’s movement. It also has autosteer, which helps it follow precise spray lines, and in transport mode, the GPS can be used to safely and easily move the machine.
